OUR STORY
Brown Biotechnology Investment Group was founded by Joshua Cohen, Biomedical Engineering '14, and Justin Klee, Neuroscience '13, in 2012. They are now the co-founders of Amylyx Pharmaceuticals, a clinical stage pharmaceutical company dedicated to providing innovative, disease-modifying solutions for neurodegenerative diseases.

BBIG was founded to allow students the opportunity to learn more about biotechnology investing from both financial and strategic perspectives. With this ethos in mind, our group attracts students with passions at the intersection of science, medicine, and finance. Our members come from a wide range of academic backgrounds, and all students are welcome regardless of experience. We host weekly stock pitches, industry panels, and educational workshops.
